Supported Employment

 

 

 

Supported Employment services under Pennsylvania's Community HealthChoices (CHC) Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program assist individuals with disabilities in finding and maintaining competitive jobs. These services include job matching, workplace accommodations, ongoing support, and skill development, empowering the individuals to achieve meaningful, long-term employment and greater independence in their communities.

Vocational training programs to help individuals acquire job skills relevant to their interests.

Job Finding is an individualized service that assists participants to obtain competitive, integrated employment. Competitive integrated employment is full or part-time work at minimum wage or higher, with wages and benefits similar to those without disabilities performing the same work, and fully integrated with co-workers without disabilities.
